I teach history and Spanish at Tokyo Girls' School, Tokyo. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 760 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Fujimoto
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Fujimoto: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 2013 at Tokyo Girls' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam
