I taught history and music at Duisburg Girls' School, Duisburg. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,100 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Friedrich
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
