For 32 years I have been the art teacher at Northside Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Franco: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
