Ms. Fowler
Social studies and economics teacher, Birmingham
- 🇺🇸 Birmingham, Alabama, United States
- Hope Academy
- 1987 to 2000
- English
For 13 years I was the social studies teacher at Hope Academy. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Fowler
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Fowler: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
