I teach environmental science and history at Greensboro Secondary School, Greensboro. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
