Ms. Ford
31 years teaching environmental science in Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Harbor High School
- Since 2013
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Ford
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Ford: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
