Ms. Fontana
31 years teaching French in Rome
- 🇮🇹 Rome, Lazio, Italy
- Rome High School
- Since 1993
- Italian, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Fontana
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Fontana: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2011 at Rome High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
