I taught home economics at Mount Pleasant Academy in Galway from 1999 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Ms. Flynn: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
