I teach special education and history at Sunrise Grammar School, Columbus. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Ms. Fitzgerald
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Fitzgerald: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
