Ms. Fitzgerald
Taught English literature at Brookfield Middle School
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- 1985 to 2020
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Fitzgerald
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Fitzgerald: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
