Riverside High School was my second home. I taught design and technology there from 1982 to 2016, mostly mixed-ability classes.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Fernández
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Fernández: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
