I taught English literature at St. Mary's Middle School in Girona from 1981 to 1998. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

What gifts mean to Ms. Fernández: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
