I taught early years at Sacramento Grammar School in Sacramento from 1980 to 2011. Most days I taught Grade 11, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
