Ms. Farouk
Art and physics teacher, Cairo
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Bamboo Academy
- 1978 to 1991
- English, Arabic, French
For 13 years I was the art teacher at Bamboo Academy. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Farouk
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Farouk: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
