I taught physics at Akron Public School in Akron from 1991 to 2012. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
More about Ms. Escobar
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
