I taught home economics at Hồ Chí Minh City Girls' School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 1978 to 1994. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Duong
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Duong: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me home economics in 1983 at Hồ Chí Minh City Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
