I taught English literature at Redwood High School in Coyoacán from 2012 to 2024. Most days I taught primary school children, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 520 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Duarte
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Duarte: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
