Ms. Duarte
Drama and history teacher, Santarém
- 🇧🇷 Santarém, Pará, Brazil
- Santarém Primary School
- Since 1993
- Portuguese
For 33 years I have been the drama teacher at Santarém Primary School. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Duarte
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Duarte: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me drama in 1998 at Santarém Primary School. I still remember the rainy sports day. Greetings from Jakarta.
