Ms. Duarte
Special education and accounting teacher, Medellín
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Medellín High School
- Since 2001
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 25 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Duarte
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Duarte: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
