Ms. Duarte
English literature teacher at Fresno Grammar School, 1987 to 2008
- 🇺🇸 Fresno, California, United States
- 1987 to 2008
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Duarte
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Duarte: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 2021 at Fresno Grammar School. I still remember the end-of-term party Greetings from Guarulhos.
