For 39 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Kilimanjaro Boys' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Du Plessis
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me chemistry in 2012 at Kilimanjaro Boys' School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.

I'm a software developer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Los Angeles.
