I taught music and physics at Ashford High School, Austin. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Douglas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me music in 2018 at Ashford High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Truly.
