Ms. Dissanayake
Early years and computer science teacher, Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Lincoln Technical College
- 2005 to 2022
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Dissanayake
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me early years in 2023 at Lincoln Technical College. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
