Ms. Dissanayake
Retired physical education teacher from Harbor Technical College
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Harbor Technical College
- 2016 to 2024
- English
I taught physical education at Harbor Technical College in Colombo from 2016 to 2024. Most days I taught the youngest children, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Dissanayake
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Dissanayake: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
