For 14 years I was the music teacher at Fairview Middle School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ms. Díaz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
