I teach music at Hillcrest Public School in Adama since 2000. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 1,510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Desta
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
