Ms. Deshpande
36 years teaching early years in Pune
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Phoenix Public School
- 1978 to 1992
- English, Gujarati, French
I taught early years at Phoenix Public School in Pune from 1978 to 1992. Most days I taught Year 7, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Deshpande
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Deshpande: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
