Ms. De Vries
12 years teaching special education in Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Elmwood Secondary School
- 1983 to 1995
- English, Dutch
For twelve years I was the special education teacher at Elmwood Secondary School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. De Vries
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. De Vries: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
