For 25 years I was the design and technology teacher at Mandaue Primary School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. De Leon
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
