I teach drama and agriculture at Elmwood Middle School, Giza. My door was open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
