I teach economics at Frangipani Girls' School in Kano since 1981. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I never turn anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
