I teach special education at Tijuana High School in Tijuana since 1996. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Cruz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Cruz: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
