Ms. Coker
17 years teaching home economics in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Grammar School
- Since 1981
- English, Igbo
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ms. Coker
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me home economics in 2012 at Lagos Grammar School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
