Ms. Coetzee
33 years teaching chemistry in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Girls' School
- Since 1995
- English, Afrikaans
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Coetzee: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 1995 at Johannesburg Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
