I taught music at Kadıköy Primary School in Kadıköy from 2006 to 2021. Most days I taught first-year students, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Çiftçi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
