Ms. Çiftçi
37 years teaching English literature in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Grammar School
- Since 2012
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Ms. Çiftçi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Çiftçi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
