I teach music at Maple Ridge Grammar School in Istanbul since 1998. Most days I teach Grade 4, and my door is open at lunch.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Çiftçi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me music in 2002 at Maple Ridge Grammar School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
