Ms. Chowdhury
Environmental science teacher at Baobab Technical College, Since 2002

I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 24 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 980 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Ms. Chowdhury: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
