Ms. Chetty
Music and economics teacher, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Westbrook Grammar School
- Since 2003
- English, Zulu
I teach music at Westbrook Grammar School in Johannesburg since 2003. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've run the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Chetty
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Chetty: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me music in 2014 at Westbrook Grammar School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
