Ms. Chavez
21 years teaching Spanish in Springfield
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Westbrook High School
- 1994 to 2025
- English, French
Westbrook High School was my second home. I taught Spanish there from 1994 to 2025, mostly Year 9.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Chavez
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Chavez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2005 at Westbrook High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

You taught me Spanish in 2002 at Westbrook High School. I still remember that terrible school play. Thank you again.

I was in your Year 9 class in 1999. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Surat.
