Ms. Chávez
Chemistry and home economics teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Boys' School
- Since 1996
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 30 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never raise my voice.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Ms. Chávez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I'm a police officer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Ankara.

You taught me chemistry in 2025 at Los Angeles Boys' School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
