For eight years I was the home economics teacher at Acacia Grammar School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
