I teach economics and environmental science at Elmwood Middle School, Pelotas. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Castro: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
