For 33 years I have been the English literature teacher at Liberty Girls' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,980 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Castro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
