Ms. Castillo

I taught environmental science at Riverside Academy in Los Angeles from 2015 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Castillo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Castillo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I'm a nurse now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Sylhet.
