Ms. Castillo
18 years teaching economics in Orlando
- 🇺🇸 Orlando, Florida, United States
- Oakwood High School
- 1979 to 2017
- English
Oakwood High School was my second home. I taught economics there from 1979 to 2017, mostly the youngest children.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Castillo
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Castillo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
