I taught physics and environmental science at Envigado Technical College, Envigado. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Castillo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
