I taught mathematics at Ciudad de México Boys' School in Ciudad de México from 1979 to 1989. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Castillo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Castillo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
