For 42 years I have been the social studies teacher at Bakersfield Public School. I teach Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,390 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
