I teach biology and environmental science at Cairns Technical College, Cairns. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Calloway
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
